| Tiivistelmä: | In this study, the authors identify the specific competencies and personality factors that are requirements for effective leadership and management performance. The analysis draws mainly upon a questionnaire study with 261 individuals serving in the British Royal Navy. The officers and ratings filled in the occupational personality questionnaire and the leadership dimensions questionnaire and the scores from the tests were compared. According to the findings, there were similarities and differences between identified abilities. |
