| Tiivistelmä: | The study examines the importance of tourism as a part of the local development. The survey was made by using a model of integrated tourism that takes into account the various resources, the use, and the role of relevant shareholders. Through the model the effective methods of promoting tourism as part of the rural development strategy was explored. The findings underline features that facilitate and inhibit sustainability in tourism as a part of a defined strategy and offer insights into the roles of various key stakeholders. |
