| Tiivistelmä: | This article reviews the economic history of Soviet Communist Party. The expenditures, revenues and interregional transfers are analyzed on the basis of financial records data covering the period 1938-1965. Also the financial connections between the party and its major donors, the army and cities, are considered as well as the relations with regional subdivisions. This article provides greater understanding about the role of the party in the construction and actions of the Soviet Union. |
