| Tiivistelmä: | Using research undertaken in Samara Oblast' of the Russian Federation, this study aims at assessing the impact of the movement, most often seen as very promising for Russia's future civil society (here as: c-s.) development, the environmental movement. The results uncover some positive contributions to c-s. development and also reveal many similarities with other studies, illustrating Russia's social movements' relative weakness in the development of civil society. |
