| Tiivistelmä: | This article considers the labour force participation of women. The aim of the study was to find explanatory factors for paid work behaviour and evaluate the influence of models which women got from their mothers. The empirical data was collected in the Netherlands, where the difference between genders working life participation is the highest in Europe. The results show that the labour market behaviour is reproduced from one generation to the next at some level. |
