| Tiivistelmä: | This study explores the unique interplay of family (henceforth as: f.) vacation travel, f. cohesion, and f. communication based on a sample of 265 f. travelers. F. vacation is found to contribute positively to f. bonding, communication and solidarity. F. interaction styles differ during the f. leisure travel process. Identified are two types of families (here as: fs.) differing on the dimension of cohesion, corresponding to separated and connected families. Three types of fs. are identified differing on the dimension of adaptation, corresponding to flexible, confused and structured fs. |
