Tiivistelmä:Among the four aspects of supply chain (hereafter as: s-c.) integration, that's cash flow, material flow, product flow and information flow, the integration of information flow is the most critical element to enable coordinating activities and s-c. alliances. Adopting the 'contingency theory' as the theoretical foundation, this study interviews eight selected firms in order to explore the impact of s-c. partners among organizations on information sharing quality (here as: i-s-q.), and the impact of inter-organizational (here as: i-o.) i-s-q. on the s-c. integrated-performance. It is shown that 1. s-c. partners within and btw. groups have a positive impact on i-o. i-s-q., 2. i-o. i-s-q. has a positive impact on the s-c. integrated performance, and 3. i-s-q. should be multi-dimensional.
