| Tiivistelmä: | Visits to zoos are often described as fun events by adults and family visitors. Research has yet to describe what aspects of these experiments are sources of enjoyment. The purpose of this study is to investigate how adults define enjoyment in zoo experiences. Q methodology is used to address the inherent subjectivity of personal enjoyment. The results show four perspectives of what enjoyment means to visitors and provide a framework and working definitions for understanding the mixture of experiences that contribute to creating an enjoyable experience for adults coming to zoos. |
