| Tiivistelmä: | Communication management is described to be a function which coordinates organizational performance by planning, organizing and controlling, but also institutionalizes certain concerns in the organization. The article describes how communication managers "manage the management of others" by acting in certain roles. It is argued that communication management is not predominantly concerned with power in the organizations, but rather with influence. |
