| Tiivistelmä: | The aim of this article is to estimate the influence of inventory investment, wage levels and the age of the firm on retailer technical efficiency. The findings suggest that inventory investment and wage level have a positive impact on technical efficiency. The focus of this study is on developing a useful methodology for managers. A composite set of hypotheses is developed and tested, and the influence of some managerially controlled factors on technical efficiency is analysed. |
