Tiivistelmä:This article introduces the Special themed section on organizational interactions involving universities and firms resulting in the commercialization of research and technology. Recent studies, incl. the papers in the special themed section are synthesized and a taxonomy of modes of commercialization is developed. Also, areas for further research are identified.
