| Tiivistelmä: | This article aims to describe and analyse state ownership (here as: s-o.) and privatisation (as: prvzn.) in Sweden from a long-term perspective. The study is part of a research project called "Privata Sverige" (as: "Private Sweden"). It is discussed how s-o. emerged, how it was organized and reached a peak as to its extent in the 1980s. Thereafter, it is looked at the first more coherent prvzn. phase happening in the same time as the prvzn. programmes in the United Kingdom (U.K.) and the Eastern Europe. To conclude, the 2006 prvzn. programme initiated by the Sweden's non-socialist government is discussed (original in Swedish). |
