| Tiivistelmä: | This article deals with the over-indebtedness (henceforth as: o-i.) problem in the Finnish consumer society, focusing on identifying the environmental and household factors promoting indebtedness. The measurements of o-i. is reviewed. There are provided a few policy instruments to tackle, or to even prevent the o-i. The focus is at addressing the debt problem itself, identifying its causes and searching for tools to solve it. |
