| Tiivistelmä: | According to the article, little is known about the variation in unit level performance of slot operations in casinos. The subject is addressed by the authors using a combination of different statistical methods in order to improve the prediction process from existing methods. The result of the analysis is a map of the casino floor, demonstrating the places of underperforming and overperforming machines. The map can be very helpful to casino managers indicating the areas of different level performance in their casinos, and enabling more effective floor design. |
