Tiivistelmä: | This paper sheds light on fashionable management concepts focusing on demand side; precisely on "awareness phase" which is between supply and implementation. The level of this awareness varies between managers; consequently, one might expect that depending on certain contextual and individual characteristics, different subgroups of managers are aware of various concepts in different ways. As a result, the management population is not homogeneous, but rather segmented. The paper presents hypotheses in order to explain this segmentation; 60 different management concepts on a Belgian sample of 681 respondents have been tested with these hypotheses. |
