| Tiivistelmä: | The study argues the importance of effective knowledge management in a creative knowledge environment of R&D groups in cutting-edge industries, such as biotechnology. Group leadership task is an important part of knowledge management. Group leaders tend to highlight the role of group organization in generating ideas, whereas group members are more concerned with creative leadership. Data to investigate the issue were collected by semi-structured interviews with group members and leaders at universities and biotechnology companies in Sweden. |
