| Tiivistelmä: | This study explores the role of religion as a source of social capital. The article is based on survey data from German Socio-Economic Panel. It is revealed that attendance of church is powerful predictor for social trust. In addition, the study shows that there is double positive effect of Protestantism while social trust is less developed in Catholic-dominated regions. |
