| Tiivistelmä: | The purpose of the article is to develop and test a model that could help explain the effects of home- and work-related aspects on the public sphere career possibilities and influence opportunities of elites. The study is based on survey data from population of Swedish National Parliamentarians. The article confirms that a conceptual model including work satisfaction and house work hours as external variables and intra-organizational, career success possibilities and influence opportunities as endogenous variables is empirically valid with regard to the elite group. |
