Tiivistelmä:The paper aims to examine how consumers' purchase intentions and their intentions to share their personal information online are affected by the product, brand and vendor trust beliefs. A web-based survey is conducted in the United States, with university students as participants. The results of the study indicate that online intentions are influenced by brand trust beliefs. The impact caused by vendor trust beliefs varies with brand trust beliefs, so that when brand trust beliefs increase, vendor trust belief effects increase. The article contributes to the understanding of consumer behavior in online environment, and provides internet retailers guidance on how to improve consumers' trust towards their products.
