| Tiivistelmä: | In 1990, The Academy of Management adopted formally a 'Code of ethical conduct'. In Dec. 2005, a totally new 'Code of ethics' was introduced by the Academy's Board, to take effect in Feb. 2006. Why was a new code enforced? This article aims at identifying key strengths and weaknesses of the original code, begin an assessment of the potential value of the new code, and so inspire discussion. |
