| Tiivistelmä: | This study focuses on the way in which multinational corporations (MNCs) and local parent firms interact in the construction and operation of international joint ventures (IJVs). It is aimed at contributing to the theory of IJV process in two ways: 1. by building a preliminary integrative theoretical framework, 2. by inferring theoretical lessons from a case study of a German-Czech IJV. Based on the empirical findings, emphasized is the role of critical events stimulating sensemaking processes etc. |
