Tiivistelmä:For most companies, managing the relationship (herein as: r-ship) with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is an important capability due to the dialogue with stakeholders being a requested feature of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In the paper, the r-ship btw. businesses and NGOs is explored in Spain. By utilizing grounded theory, this r-ship is summarized in the dynamics of conflict and co-operation. NGOs' strategies vis-à-vis companies are categorized and the variables explaining different approaches for both companies and NGOs are examined.
