| Tiivistelmä: | This study reviews unethical purchasing customs from the perspective of buyer–supplier relationship. It is based on qualitative data from in-depth interviews with purchase managers and a review of inter-organizational literature. Taking into account the presence of an explicit or implicit company policy penalizing ethically questionable activities, unethical purchasing is conceptualized as a three-tiered set. Theoretical and managerial implications of the results are discussed. |
