| Tiivistelmä: | This article explores the differences and similarities in rural tourist motivations two different tourism destinations (Finland and Tyrol). The study is based on questionnaire for tourists visiting rural tourism companies. The results reveal significant differences in tourist motivations in the two regions. Tourist in Tyrol seem to value active, valuing experiences and adventures whereas rural tourist in Finland value more relaxation and peace of mind. |
