Tiivistelmä: | This article investigates team performance influenced by organizationally supported face-to-face and technology-mediated knowledge practices. A field study of over 250 teams within a global Fortune 100 technology company was conducted showing that team member participation in face-to-face and technology-mediated knowledge practices and team knowledge sharing practices are positively connected with individual team member knowledge. It is hypothesized that absorptive capacity moderates tacit knowledge relationships with team performance, and that transactive memory moderates explicit knowledge relationships with team performance. It is found that the patterns of relationships differ depending on the measure of team performance. |
