| Tiivistelmä: | This article evaluates the impact of economic and risk factors concerning companies' services location choices between offshoring and nearshoring. It is found that these factors affect company decision-making concerning services offshoring location choices, and that these factors are important to companies depending on whether the firm offshores relatively higher versus relatively lower skill services. Offshoring companies seem to trade off some gains in one area to reduce costs in others, and that the factors driving nearshoring are different than those that affect offshoring. |
