| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the effect of country-level factors that have changed the patterns of international R&D investments by multinational companies (MNCs). Differences in a country's technological innovation capability were the most important factor in attracting R&D investments. The country's intellectual property rights (IPR) were also an important affect on R&D investments. International investor's experience with the country was a critical factor in attracting R&D investment inflows. |
