Tiivistelmä: | This article makes two contributions. First, it is argued that the crisis isn't a solely economic or financial crisis but a fundamental crisis of management, with its function of regulating the relationship between the company and society. Second, it is indicated that this crisis is based on law, since corporate law doesn't protect the autonomy of management. It is argued that management research needs to open its boundaries and to re-examine corporate law. New governance rules are proposed to ensure managers have the freedom to organize collective creation processes in a way that is both efficient and legitimate. |
