Tiivistelmä:Herein, a panel of eBay seller histories is built, examining the importance of eBay's reputation mechanism. Among others, it is found that, when a seller first receives negative feedback, his weekly sales rate drops from a positive 5 percent to a negative 8 percent. Subsequent negative feedback ratings arrive 25 percent more rapidly than the first one, without nearly as much impact as the first one etc.
