Tiivistelmä: | Some junior researchers' experience of innovative research is presented in this article in an attempt to encourage fellow junior academics. Context and flexibility were noted to be the key factors in the research process, and these factors are analyzed in the context of three specific features. First of the three features is meta-research, how research is managed, the team's choice for the type of research. Second, the team is embedded in a large organization with numerous academics from scientists to sociologists. Third, unique opportunities that cover more than the traditional academic paradigm are offered by the organization. The preceding concepts are framed by Blumer's theory of Symbolic Interactionism. |
