| Tiivistelmä: | This paper explores how the globalization of national business systems has influenced the framing of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The study is based on text analysis of CEO letters in the annual reports of 15 major Swedish firms. The findings reveal that CSR reporting has changed from a national and communitarian view towards a global and individualistic view. However, this shift does not necessarily mean an increased commitment and interest in CSR, only that CSR practices are framed and reported differently. |
