| Tiivistelmä: | Using a thematic approach, this paper aims to explore tourism labour (henceforth as: t-lbr.) research. Set against a background of increasing interest in and diversity of labour issues, dominant and emerging themes t-lbr. research are discussed to show the broad range and evolution of studies conducted to date. This paper deals with three different perspectives (here as: prcps.) on t-lbr. to express the complexities of labour issues. These prcps. are the ones of i. the tourism worker, ii. the tourism employer, and iii. the tourism researcher. Each prcps. is considered via the use of a scenario. It is concluded that the intricacies of t-lbr. afford an opportunity for multi-disciplinary boundaryless research promoting dialogue btw. different prcps. |
