Tiivistelmä: | This study re-examines the impact of personal and organizational values congruency on positive work outcomes. Explored is the extent to which this relationship is affected by demographic variables. Based on gathered data, being comparable to an earlier study (by Posner and Schmidt, in Journal of Business Ethics, vol. 12:5, p. 341-347, 1993), and validating those findings, lending additional credibility to the ongoing importance of this phenomenon etc. Using a cross-sectional sample of over 700 managers from across the United States (U.S.), it is found that both personal values congruence and organizational values clarity are notably related to commitment, satisfaction, motivation, anxiety, work stress, and ethics. Educational level, gender, and functional area did not have influence on these relationships etc. |
