| Tiivistelmä: | The majority of Brazilian population live in urban regions where population growth is remarkable bringing about serious economic difficulties. In order to solve the problems at least partly, Brazil concentrates on development of space technology in cooperation with Canada, France, Germany and Japan. In 1980 a project started for a system of two satellites which were launched in 1985 and 1986, resp. Further research will be carried on how to utilize space. |
