| Tiivistelmä: | Unprecedented and significant changes during the past ten years have undermined the premises and foundations on which human resources (HR) planning was conceived. Several major trends that are giving rise to a new HR activity - human resources strategy - are identified. Opinion of HR managers and line managers at leading companies is reported. A review of current HR literature is provided. Several implications for the practice of human resources management are considered. |
