Abstract:This paper aims to elucidate the importance of different technological (henceforth as: tchn-al.) aspects of organizations for Spanish firms' performance (as: perf.) via organizational (as: org-al.) learning (OL) and corporate entrepreneurship (CE).
Based on a sample selected from the database Dun & Bradstreet Espana for 2003, there are approximately 200 Spanish firms with CEOs being the main informants. It is shown that the support adopted by top managers will directly influence the OL process, tchn-al. distinctive competencies (here as: TDCs) and CE. TDCs are also supported by org-al. slack resources, tchn-al. skills and a tchn-al. infrastructure. In the end, CE influences org-al. perf.
