PSK Standardisointi on teollisuuden yhteinen kehitysyksikkö. PSK-standardit ovat menetelmätyyppisiä ja niiden kehyksinä käytetään eurooppalaisia sekä kansainvälisiä tuotestandardeja. Opetusta varten opettaja saa kopioida samasta standardista lukukaudessa yhden kappaleen kutakin oppilasta varten. Koko standardia ei saa kopioida yhdellä kertaa, vaan enintään puolet siitä ja joka tapauksessa enintään viisi sivua. Koko standardin kopioiminen piirtoheitinkalvoksi on sallittua.
