Abstract (eng): | The objective of the study was to increase the turnover of the inventory and decrease the value of the inventory. The present supply chain from purchase order to production was analysed. A benchmark of the supply chain in another company was also done. Problems were found in the number of inventories and the material picking process in the target company. To solve the problems different groups for internal and external logistics were developed. The internal logistics were divided into five different groups, of which the 2-bin replenishment at the workplace and the material picking trolley for only one forklift truck are the most noticeable improvements. The biggest improvement in the external logistics was the use of the week order model trough the Web portal instead of the 2-bin system with the suppliers and the net demand balanced orders instead of the manual balanced orders. The most optimal group for the items were chosen based on the supplier and the value and demand of the item. The use of the new internal logistical groups resulted in a decrease of the value of the material in black box with 78%. The new external logistical groups increased the turnover of the inventory three times. |
