Abstract (eng):The purpose of this research work has been to find out what factors influence on the increase of westbound traffic flows in Russian foreign trade sea transports.

Answers to the questions obtained in this part of the research allowed better understanding of what kind of value-added service could be offered to Russian export customers as well as what kind of special logistics arrangements and management of information flows would bring about the increase in westbound traffic.
