Abstract (eng): | Performance testing is an important and integral part of the software development process in the modern society. Keyword-driven is one of the popular technologies that can achieve the automated performance testing. And keyword-driven test automation framework can allow us to gain the benefits of keyword-driven testing. The purpose of this study is to implement one keyword-driven test automation framework for running the GUI testing of one platform product, meanwhile, collecting and anayzing the system performance. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the concept and advantages of software performance testing and keyword-driven test automation are presented. One keyword-driven test automation framework used in this study and the platform product under test are introduced as well. In the practical part of the thesis, the new keywords and test cases are developed for simulations to execute the operations on the GUI by using the keyword-driven test automation framework. The system performance is tested by executing the test cases in multiple virtual machines which can produce the user load on the system. The CPU Consumption and response time of the system are calculated based on the test results and analyzed. |
