Abstract (eng):The wireless cellular communications sector is witnessing an unprecedented demand for data and demand for seamless QoS throughout an operator network.
Now a days having a few hot-spots with Gbps data rate and high QoS does not satisfy customers anymore.
As LTE user penetration rises, the users get more and more demanding.
For example they want the high speed Internet and data connection work on-board a high speed train, inside a jungle or in a high altitude.

So now a days its equally important for LTE data network to be fast and also be very effective in challenging network conditions like cell edge interference, throughput etc.
There has to be a robust radio resource management in place.

This thesis not only creates a mega-city wide LTE network but also try to incorporate LTE advanced technologies which enables the network to be robust, fine tuned and high QoS delivering in challenging situations.

The work scope will involve: development of dimensioning and link budget analysis procedures and implementation of a large scale LTE network.
The thesis also implements scenarios where Coordinated Multipoint (CoMP in LTE Advanced) can be used to provide better QoS and network performance.
