Abstract (eng): | Currently when mobile user wants to use any online service provided by mobile portal, the user is most typically authenticated by the service provider before he/she can use the service. Later on, if mobile user navigates to another service site, he/she is most typically authenticated again by the new service provider. Liberty Alliance focuses on federated identity management. Single Sign-On is the key feature of Liberty. Liberty protocols use Web redirections, in optional combination with SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), to exchange SAML-encoded identity information and accomplish Single Sign-On, Identity Federation, etc. This thesis analysis and shows how Liberty Alliance can be used to help mobile portal for Web access management - user only needs to be authenticated once at mobile portal and can use all the federated service seamlessly without re -authentication. |
