Abstract (eng):Radiosonde is a disposable electronic device, which is mainly used for measuring upper atmosphere variables, defining air pressure, temperature and air humidity.
In this thesis, the functional blocks which are entered into radiosonde electronics were examined.
Functions of those blocks from radiosonde operational point of view and alternative implementation methods of those blocks were defined.
On extremity of alternative implementation methods were a method, which uses only commercially available components and on the other end a method, which has maximal integration level.

To be able to compare alternative implementation methods, we defined various criteria, for which comparison of different methods was based on.
Those criteria were used to define the benefits and disadvantages of different implementation methods and finally to find three most optimal implementation methods for radiosonde electronics.

Three most optimal methods could be defined.
Although during the thesis it was realized that remarkably more detailed analysis of these three implementation methods should be done before starting a development project.
This conclusion was done, because during the thesis work range of this thesis was realized to be so large, that it was not possible to do enough detailed analysis of these implementation methods.
Abstract (fin):Radiosondi on kertakäyttöinen elektroninen laite, jota käytetään pääasiassa yläilmakehän suureiden, ilmanpaineen, lämpötilan ja ilmankosteuden, määrittämiseen.
Tässä työssä tarkasteltiin radiosondin elektroniikkaan sisältyviä toiminnallisia lohkoja, niiden tehtäviä sondin toiminnan kannalta sekä erilaisia vaihtoehtoja elektroniikan toteuttamiseen.
Toteutustapojen ääripäinä olivat täysin kaupallisilla komponenteilla toteutettu vaihtoehto sekä vaihtoehto, jossa elektroniikan integrointiaste oli nostettu mahdollisimman korkeaksi.

Toteutustapojen vertailua varten määriteltiin useita kriteerejä, joiden perusteella toteutustapoja vertailtiin.
Kriteereiden avulla pyrittiin määrittämään eri toteutusvaihtoehtojen edut ja haitat sekä lopulta löytämään kolme optimaalisinta vaihtoehtoa radiosondin elektroniikan toteutukselle.

Kolme optimaalisinta vaihtoehtoa pystyttiin määrittämään.
Työn edetessä kuitenkin havaittiin, että näiden kolmen vaihtoehdon osalta olisi tehtävä vielä huomattavasti yksityiskohtaisempi tutkimus, ennen kuin niistä voitaisiin aloittaa tuotekehitysprojekteja.
Tähän johtopäätökseen tultiin, koska huomattiin työn laajuus niin suureksi, ettei eri toteutustapojen tutkimusta voitu tehdä kovin syvällisellä tasolla.
