| Abstract (eng): | The subject of this thesis project is the design of a cultural building in existing fabric in the center of Helsinki, on the site of "Lasipalatsi". The primary concerns of the work have been the relationship of old and new, employing the existing context and its potential to the fullest and how to design a socially and functionally rich urban setting. |
