Abstract (eng): This Master's thesis studies the designing of a computer program for the education of acoustic measurements.
The problem is discussed from the student's, the teacher's and the administrative organization's point of view.
Different ways to solve the problem were contemplated.
The solution was realized by using LabVIEW development system.

The thesis explains the theory behind loudspeaker measurements and introduces the situation at hand on the course Exercise in Acoustical Measurements.
Software development using LabVIEW development system was closely examined, weighing the possibilities and problems.
Data security of the system under development was also considered.

Newly created software was deployed for the first time on the course in spring 2010.
Course feedback was collected from the students.
The feedback was mostly positive - only minor suggestions for development were given.
This Master's thesis offers the engineers, the teachers and the researchers an example of creating a measurement software by using graphical programming of LabVIEW development system.
Abstract (fin): Diplomityössä käydään läpi tietokoneohjelman suunnittelu akustisen mittauksen opetukseen.
