Abstract (eng): In the thesis a small signal model for average current mode controlled constant current step-down switching power supply is derived.
The small signal model is derived in continuous inductor current region with state space averaging method.
Finally, closed-loop model of the power supply is formed with error amplifier and pulse width modulator models.
System is analyzed by studying locations of poles and zeroes and in the frequency plane with Bode diagrams.

Accuracy of mathematical small signal model is compared to experimental measurements of prototype converter.
Load affects significantly to converter dynamics.
Derived small signal model predicts accurately load interactions.
Abstract (fin): Työssä johdetaan piensignaalimalli keskiarvovirtaohjatulle laskevalle vakiovirtakatkojalle.
