Abstract (eng): | This thesis studies dynamic interactions between DC- and AC-sides of an inverter system in order to reveal possible risks of instability. The system consists of three main parts: an electric circuit with an inverter, a pulsewidth modulator, and a controller. The DC-side of the inverter is connected to a DC-voltage source and the AC-side is connected to a three-phase load. This thesis examines a two-level three-phase inverter with an LC-filter on the DC-side. The system is controlled via a power-reference signal. A current control of the system is accomplished using voltage-oriented vector control. Furthermore, the current controller is augmented with active damping and cross-coupling cancellation. The system is modelled using a small-signal method from a viewpoint of the DC-side. Time delays due to precalculation and discretization are taken into account in modelling the system. A small-signal model is created for an open-loop controlled, a voltage-controlled, and a current-controlled system. Stability analysis are performed for the small-signal model. Results of the stability analysis are compared with time-domain simulations. Few examples show how well the small-signal model predicts the stability of the system. A stabilization controller is also developed in this thesis. A performance of the stabilization controller is tested with simulations as well. According to the simulation results, the small-signal model predicts well the stability of the system. Moreover, the stabilization controller can stabilize a naturally unstable system, and performs well in a step-response test. |
Abstract (fin): | Tässä työssä tutkitaan vaihtosuuntaajalla varustetun järjestelmän tasajännitepuolen ja vaihtojännitepuolen dynaamisia vuorovaikutuksia, jotta mahdolliset riskit epästabiilisuudesta tunnistettaisiin. Ohjaus perustuu jänniteorientoituun vektorisäätöön, jossa on virtasäätäjä. Piensignaalimallille muodostetaan stabiilisuustarkastelu, jonka tuloksia verrataan aikatason simulaatioihin. Muutaman esimerkin avulla näytetään, kuinka hyvin piensignaalimalli ennustaa järjestelmän stabiilisuuden. Työssä myös kehitetään stabilointiohjain välipiirin resonanssin vaimentamiseksi. Stabilointiohjaimen suorituskykyä testataan simuloimalla. Simulointitulosten perusteella piensignaalimalli ennustaa hyvin järjestelmän stabiilisuuden. |
