Abstract (eng):To regulate and control the access of private areas, companies have developed and deployed several types of mechanical access control systems.
Still, these solutions present some drawbacks: cost for duplicating a key, replacement of the locks upon key loss and additional object to be carried by the customer.
With the continuous progress in the technology environment, the mechanical systems have been slowly converted to electronic access control systems.
The mechanical key has been replaced by electronic cards, security passwords and even biological characteristics of the human body.
These solutions present some issues as well: biometric systems are expensive, electronic cards need to be carried and security passwords make the access slow.
To overcome these limitations, Flexim Security designed an access control system which uses a mobile phone as a secure container for multiple keys.
In this work, we design and develop part of the already existent mobile application, to extend and improve its usage.
We aim to handle the door access, make usage of a secure environment to enforce security and prevent the usage of the application upon suspicious circumstances.
