Abstract (eng): This master's thesis describes a study where two assembly lines that are relatively similar but are based on different production concepts were compared with different kinds of analysis methods.
The objective methods are based on expert analysis of the work whereas the subjective methods find out how the workers feel about their jobs.
The results were studied both to find out the differences of the case systems and the differences of the analysis methods.

The results from all the used methods showed that the studied work systems clearly had differences on the human factors.

The study also showed that all the used methods gave parallel results and it seems that the objective methods can be used as tools to help in the design of work systems as it seems they can predict quite well how the human factors will be in a work system.
Abstract (fin): Tämä diplomityö käsittelee tutkimusta, jossa vertailtiin kahta samantyyppistä, mutta eri suunnittelukonseptiin perustuvaa kokoonpanolinjaa useilla eri analyysimenetelmillä.
