Abstract (eng): | In spite of the well-known complexities in new product development processes, project management has to act mostly without a support tools. However, systems engineering tends to be very model oriented. Extracting information from models for management would help planning, organizing and managing projects. Combining systems engineering with project management would tighter co-operation with two roles and offers information for project manager from the state of project development process and its future. In this Thesis it is studied how these two roles can be connected in more efficient way. Methodology, which produces Process scheme, a model of design activities and linkages between them, is created from initial requirements of project. Motivation is that a process scheme, combined with time estimation of different tasks and scheduling algorithm, would ultimately create efficient project scheduling tool for project management. Developed methodology is applied for a case study of a mobile robot. Firstly, SysML model of robot is created. Next, SysML model is used to extract different tasks in product development process. A case study shows that derivation of tasks leads to correct list of tasks, but certain stages of procedure can't be carried out automatically. After derivation of tasks, relationships between them are determined. It is shown that relationships between tasks can be partly extracted from SysML model. However additional information is needed to determine certain relationships between tasks. |
Abstract (fin): | Huolimatta uusien tuotteiden tuotekehitysprosessien monimutkaisuudesta, projektinhallinnan täytyy usein yhä toimia ilman paatoksentekoa tukevia työkaluja. Kuitenkin systeemisuunnittelussa käytetään hyvin paljon malleja tuotekehitysprosessin tukena. Diplomityössä kuitenkin osoitetaan ettei kaikkia työtehtävien välisiä riippuvuuksia saa johdettua SysML-mallista vaan mallin ulkopuolista tietoa on sovellettava. |
